After years of leading international marketing, brand, and communications initiatives across luxury hospitality and matrixed organizations, it became clear that fragmentation, not potential, was the issue.

The foundations of marketing weren’t understood. Global brand restrictions placed limitations on revenue-driving opportunities. And then, there was the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Fatigue around AI is already visible. The issue is not the technology itself. The issue is the absence of judgment in how it is applied. When everything is generated, authorship disappears.

The Story

of its founder

My dream was to write from the shores of Southern California—a distant daydream, or so it seemed, from the middle of Saskatchewan. “But can you imagine starting over,” a colleague once asked. I couldn’t imagine not trying.

Fast-forward five years.

What began as a daydream 1,900 miles away became a career change that rapidly propelled me into the role of a globally trusted executive in luxury hospitality marketing. Today, I’m in the midst of building my own entrepreneurial endeavour* from my Malibu backyard, as the Pacific Ocean hums beneath a slow-moving marine layer.

*Yes, I still use Canadian spellings on occasion. Sorry. :)

Risks that once appeared impractical on paper became essential in practice. Over time, credibility was earned through independent oversight of branding, public relations, communications, digital strategy, and data-driven performance for luxury brands. Along the way, my work was referenced in publications such as the Los Angeles Times and Love Inc. Magazine.

My dream was freedom to create without limitation—from a place that sets my soul on fire.
